Income tax and bookkeeping services for SF Bay Area businesses … by the Tax Diva

Suzanne Halladay, aka the Tax Diva, loves helping clients with all the things they hate to do: organizing financial information, tax planning, preparation and filing returns.

Unlike some income tax preparers, Suzanne doesn’t disappear on April 16. She is in her San Rafael office year ‘round, advising clients and answering questions.

Most of all, she loves showing clients how to maximize deductions and save money on their  taxes.

Dedicated? Yes, but you’ll never catch her wearing a plastic pocket pen protector.

Tax services without the stress

Suzanne works with businesses and individuals throughout the SF Bay Area and as far away as Honolulu and Washington D.C.  She understands that tax season can be nerve-wracking — you may feel overwhelmed by paperwork, or maybe you’ve lost track of receipts, or owe money for back taxes. No worries … Suzanne’s calm demeanor and sense of humor will put you at ease as she gently guides you through the process.

And now, through her affiliation with Blackline Partners LLC, Suzanne can offer a variety of services to help your small business succeed. Learn more

From Bay Area bookkeeper to Enrolled Agent*

Suzanne started her bookkeeping business in 1977 and continues to offer that service for small to medium companies. In fact, for some clients, she functions as their virtual CFO. Over the years, she expanded her practice to include strategic tax planning and preparation.  A member of the National Association of Tax Professionals, she prepares and files all types of documents, including personal 1040’s, corporate, partnership, estate and gift tax returns. And now, with the EA after her name, she also represents clients at IRS audits.

Certified Green Business

Money is not the only green Suzanne advises on. A believer in sustainability, she has taken the necessary steps to qualify as a Marin County Green Business. And she encourages her clients to do the same, if they haven’t already. E-filing returns and reducing paper use is one easy way she shows care for the environment.

The creative side of Suzanne

When she isn’t busy serving clients or staying up to date on the tax laws, Suzanne may be found working on her latest craft project, nurturing her organic garden, hiking the trails in Marin or baking English muffins from scratch using her grandmother’s recipe.

Got a letter from the IRS? Uh, oh … call Suzanne.

*An Enrolled Agent (EA) is a tax professional who is licensed by the federal government to represent taxpayers before the IRS.
